Dwight L Goodwin died December 10, 2016 at the Los Gatos Meadows Retirement Community. Dwight is survived by his life partner, Sue Cottrell; his daughters Carol Goodwin-Scott and Madeleine Aldridge; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Dwight was born January 15, 1926 and raised in Los Angeles. After graduating from UC Berkeley, he received his doctoral degree from Stanford University in 1966. He served as president of the California Psychological Association in 1975. His career began as a school psychologist and culminated as a fellowed professor at San Jose State and as a therapist in private practice. He spent his life in service to others and is beloved by many.
