I have three grandchildren by our older daughter Alison and her husband Aurelio Espinosa; Spencer, More…Isabel and Ethan. Our younger daughter, Victoria, is married to Chris Durant and has no children. She is a MFT and worked at the Huntington Hospital until recently.
I have had a wonderful career in my home teaching piano. I have worked with a mentor, Robert Pace, from Teachers' College at Columbia University and have trained many teachers in his method.
I am now very involved in the arts volunteer community. I serve on the boards of the Long Beach Symphony, International City Theater and Arts Council Long Beach.
Other South Pasadena schools I also attended
Lincoln Elementary
South Pasadena Junior High
Different places I have lived
I'm a Southern California kind of girl!
Family history living in South Pasadena
I lived in our lovely home over-looking our city until moving to West L.A. and then to Seal Beach with my husband. After my brother sold our home at 330 Alta Vista, he moved next door to us in Seal Beach. He died May 8, 2020 and we miss him very much. He was from the class of 1949.
Family members who also went to SPHS
My brother, John, graduated in 1949.
Other SPHS graduates I keep in touch with are:
Vicky Good Bartlett
Reuion Committee, Class of 1960
Vicki Mann Paul, Class of 1962
