Bernice Kurilich Ducich

December 14, 1931 - January 29, 2021

Bernice passed away peacefully at home from natural causes. She was 89. Her positive outlook, bright smile and friendly demeanor will be remembered by all who knew her.

Bernice was devoted to her family. She worked for Arcadia Unified School District from 1974 - 2002. She was active in the various Arcadia schools her children attended, with her daughter in Job's Daughters, her son's sports programs, along with her beloved church, St Steven's Serbian Orthodox Cathedral. 

She is survived by her children, Terry (Jim) Leahy, George Ducich, and Nick (Tia) Ducich, along with ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband George Ducich, son Brad Ducich, a granddaughter, her parents Vaso and Sophia Kurilich, and siblings Persida Kurilich Pavlovich (SPHS '45), Milena Kurilich Martin (SPHS '46), and Robert Kurilich (SPHS '55).
