Linda Gustafson

Linda Gustafson

May 23, 1950 - May 26, 2022

Linda was a bright, energetic, and enthusiastic person, always learning, teaching, and exploring. She had degrees from UC Davis and San Francisco State. She traveled extensively and was bi-lingual in Spanish after teaching Guatemala and traveling through South America. Later she traveled in Europe, Scandinavia, and Russia, as well as trekking in Nepal, China, and Central Asia.

Linda worked for the Public Utilities commission in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 30 years. She was a volunteer who enjoyed practicing and teaching quigong. She was avidly interested in social, political, and environmental concerns. She enjoyed sailing in the San Francisco Bay, birding, and most of all she enjoyed family times, visiting and traveling with family.

She is survived by her siblings:  Carol Gustafson Pace '70, Carl Gustafson '72, and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, cousins and relatives as far away as Finland.

Carol Gustafson Pace '70

Sad to hear. I have not been in contact with Linda in years, but she was a friend in high school. I hope she had a happy life.
