Agnes McCoy Tighe

October 20, 1897 - June 12, 1991

Agnes Tighe of Tigard, Orgeon died of a stroke Wednesday,  in a Tigard foster care home.  Mrs. Tighe was 93.

Agnes was born in Wilmington, California.  An accountant, she worked for Mobil Oil Corporation from 1926 until 1949, and later was employed by the Los Angeles School District for about 19 years until her retirement in 1969. 

Mrs. Tighe moved to Wilsonville, Oregon, in 1972, and was a member of the United Methodist Church of Wilsonville.  Her husband, John Tighe, died in 1976.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews, including Glen Tighe and his wife, Shirley, of Tigard and Rena Davidson Cook of Los Angeles.
