William Cser, Longtime SoPas Resident, Businessman, Dies

Friends of William Cser, owner of Sigmond Travel which just cmpleted 20 years in the same location in South Pasadena, were saddened to hear of his death.

Bill was a prominent business man and longtime resident of South Pasadena, having come here with his family in 1920. He attended South Pasadena schools and graduated in the High School class of 1928. He also graduated from USC.

Bill was a member of the South Pasadena Rotary Club, the Pasadena Elks Club, Tournament of Roses Association and South Pasadena Chamber of Commerce. 

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; brother, Joseph Cser (SPHS '31), and a sister, Irma Swan (SPHS '32). Bill collapsed on the golf course. Cause of death was heart failure.
