Eugene Noel Robison died August 14, 1998, a few days before his 75th birthday. He was a real estate entrepreneur and World War II Veteran of the Battle of the Bulge. He was awarded a Purple Heart.

He is survived by his wife Rosemary, his children and grandchildren. He loved to play golf and travel the world. He was involved in many community activities including the International Institute of Los Angeles, which has dedicated a Memorial Library in his honor.
