Neil Woodburn (July 3, 1928 - June 14, 1951), a member of Psi Upsilon fraternity, was killed early today when his speeding car struck the center dividing strip on Eastshore Hihway between University and Ashby Avenues, skidded more than 150 feet and finally crashed into a light pole. Extricated from the wreckage by crowbars, he was prounounced dead on arrival at Herrick Memorial Hsopital.

Woodburn's home was in South Pasadena. A senior engineering student, he would have graduated at the end of the summer session. He is survived by his parents; brother Craig '48 and sister, Janet '51, all of Mission Street, South Pasadena.
