Robert Harlan Loud - Class Of 1948

Robert Harlan Loud

Robert "Bob" Loud (aka El Lobo)  '48  passed away of heart failure January 16, 2008, in Tucson, Arizona at the age of 78.  He lived a full and varied life.

Besides being a successful Ford dealer in Pasadena for many years, he was very involved in the community, being active in the Junior Chamber of Commerce, Tournament of Roses, and Rotary Club.  He also was a longtime Elks member, a Mason, and a Shriner where he was captain and president of the Silver Mounted Patrol.  He loved horse back riding and was also a member of San Dimas Posse Search and Rescue.

In 1979 he semi-retired to Oregon with his second wife Barbra to be a sheep and horse rancher.  He loved sitting on his tractor cutting hay or being out horse back riding with his wife.  After almost twenty years in Oregon, they retired to Arizona.  He is survived by his wife Barbra, his four children, ten grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

A celebration of life took place on the ocean off Balboa Island, California where he spent many happy summers boating with family and friends.
