Carl was born August 22, 1948 in California, and grew up in South Pasadena attending Marengo, SPJHS and SPHS.
With a career of more than 20 years in massage therapy, he was living in Long Beach at the time of his death (due to septic shock and pneumonia) January 12, 1997. He was 48 years old.
Carl was survived by his siblings, Craig '53, Sandra '58, Glenyce '64 and Camilla '67, as well as other family members and friends.

I still remember the times that you, your sister and I took a trip to Crater Lake, Yosemite, and back past the Alabama Hills. I regret that we never re-connected after college. You taught me a lot about life, even at that young age. You are missed.
