Elizabeth Stanley Monroy, 95, died March 14, 2007, in Carlsbad, California. Born August 16, 1911 in Oklahoma, she lived in La Costa for 30 years. She was a local eclectic artist and owned an art school in Los Angeles and Oceanside.
Ms. Monroy is survived by her brother of San Clemente.
