Jane Elise Austin (Hooker) - Class Of 1933

Jane Elise Austin (Hooker)

Jane Austin Hooker, a prominent member of Burlingame society, died June 1, 1969 at her home 761 Chiltern Road in Hillsborough. She was 54.

A native of Pasadena, she married R Lent Hooker, the son of the millionaire realty broker, RL Hooker, in 1956. Mrs Hooker is survived by her husband and by three children of a former marriage to Thomas Bunn of Pebble Beach.

Her son, Thomas Bunn, lives on the East Coast; her daughter, Mrs Robert Devlin, resides in San Francisco, and a son Christopher Bunn is in the Peace Corps.

Mrs Hooker had been ill for some time. Because her death was not attended by a physician, the coroner is investigating the cause.
