Edith Cleveland Lewis

December 11, 1915 - April 30, 1998

Long Beach, California:  Three years of college, then married in 1938. Worked for US government, Department of the Army for 15 years. Disability retirement in 1968. Traveled and lived throughout the US. The happiest and most exciting years were spent on the Monterey Peninsula, in Carmel, in particular. Here I became good friends with many notable people in the art and literary fields. People interest me. Now I keep busy with my many nicees and nephews, whom I regard as my children. Gourmet cooking and cross-word puzzles.
