Cindy Newhall Weyant of Costa Mesa, California, died March 31, 2015 after a 15-year struggle with multiple sclerosis. She was 51 years old.

Born in Pasadena February 27, 1964, she grew up in Southern California, graduating from California Polytechnic State University with a degree in computer information systems and worked as a software engineer at Pacificare and Wellpoint. She raised three wonderful children through it all and remained an amazingly cheerful and inspiring person. She touched many, many people and will be missed more than words can say.

Cindy is survived by her husband Jeffrey Weyant; sons Christopher Halbasch, Matthew Halbasch, and Derek Weyant; brother David Newhall '79; mother Dorothy Alcorn and father Skip Newhall.
