It is with great sadness that I report to those who remember Clarence "Pud" Parmenter, Class of '40 that he passed away peacefully after a long illness on June 30, 2011.  He was surrounded by his family in their home in Lakewood, Colorado.

Pud served in the U.S. Coast Guard and was the fifth member of the Parmenter family to attend and graduate from South Pasadena High School.  He will be remembered for his love of and contributions to the field of sports.
