Pacific Grove, California:  "Polished the high school acquired skills of shorthand and typing at Woodbury Business College and was employed as secretary for 10 years; five of it as secretary to an ABC news commentator in Hollywood. During World War II met and married a naval lieutenant who was an electrical engineer from Cal Tech; resided in Del Mar enjoying the pleasurable pursuits of surf and sand. Boarded a Norwegian freighter bound for Chile with dog, squirrel, and Italian sports car in the early 60s for a year's South American adventure where we resided and toured extensively Chile and Ecquador. Drove to Costa Rica in the early 70s, a trip entailing three months, 10,000 miles, seven countries and 24 sets of border crossings. Presently enjoying the surf and beauty of Pebble Beach and occasional sojourns and sometimes outlandish adventures in the tropical enchantments of Mexico where it is somehow always a pleasure to know the Spanish learned in Miss Nash's high school class."
