Alexander Robertson Jr passed away October 28, 2014 in Bend, Oregon. Born June 1, 1934 in Los Angeles, California to Alexander and Elsie Robertson, Alex grew up in San Marino and attended South Pasadena and San Marino schools and later attended Principia College in Elsah, Illinois.

Alex worked with his father and founder of The Alex Robertson Company, a heavy industrial and pipeline contractor, in Southern California. Alex married Stephanie Searles in 1958. He served in the United States Navy in Japan as Lt JG and in the Naval Reserves in California. He went on to become president of the family business, establishing several branches in Bakersfield and Los Angeles. Some of his company's accomplishments included the San Diego Stadium, aerospace and NASA facilities, and major industrial parks throughout Irvine and Orange County. 

Alex and Stephanie resided in Orange County and remained married for 49 years, until her passing in 2007. They are survived by their four children, Alex Robertson IV (Simi Valley), Aimee Klaus (Beverly Hills), Heather Stone (Florida) and Nicole Meier (Bend), and 14 grandchildren. Alex enjoyed his church, music, the arts and cultural events. He will be missed by friends and family.
