E Virginia Warren (Lewis) - Class Of 1930

Virginia Warren Lewis passed away in San Mateo, California on January 16, 2003. Born November 19, 1912 in Sacramento, she was a resident of San Mateo for 55 years. Beloved wife of the late Charles K Lewis; loving mother of Roger Lewis of Napa, Gail Castro of Redwood Shores, Stephen Lewis of San Francisco, and Patricia Lewis of Seattle, Washington. Dear mother-in-law of Diana Lewis and Sarah Lewis.  Proud grandmother of Kevin Lewis, Lorraine Lewis, Jeanne McGinnis, Gregory Castro, Jack Lewis, David Lewis, Gary Castro, Kathy Castro, and Marc Lewis. Loving daughter of the late Gertrude Barry and Lloyd Warren. Devoted sister of Robert Barry (SPHS '38) of New York City. Also survived by her seven great-grandchildren.

Virginia was an active participant in life, volunteering in school and church organizations as well as the Lucille Packard Children's Hospital. She loved to travel and saw the world with her late husband and her children. She enjoyed a very successful career in real estate in the San Mateo, Burlingame area.
