I saw Sandy about 5-6 years ago, immediately recognized her...nothing changed...she was the same funny person. I was saddened to hear of her passing...Sandy will be missed by many.
The first day I met Sandy, Miss Lauer had sent her home from school 'cause her skirt was too short.
To my children she was Aunt Sandy. They loved to hang with her because there was never a dull moment and she let them stay up as late as they wanted.
My Grandma used to say "If you think of the departed, they get to do their favorite thing in heaven". If that's true, my Grandma is starting a cake and Sandy is starting a party!
