John Odell
August 6, 1950 - May 16, 2024
John, of Flagstaff, Arizona, died at age 73 due to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. He is survived by his brother, Craig Odell '69.
John was living on his ranch in Flagstaff. He was separated from his wife Lorrie but they did remain close friends over the years. He purchased this 40 acres outside of Flagstaff about 20 years ago and he always enjoyed the serenity of living in this area. Located at about 6500 feet above sea level just south of the Hopi Indian Reservation. He was in poor health over the last couple of years but he kept active with many of his hobbies which included riding motorcycles, target shooting, and of course the constant companionship of his two dogs, Scooter and Coco.

I just learned of your loss of your brother. I have found memories of the two of you playing hockey at the Pasadena WInter Gardens. I ran into John once in downtown Denver in the 70's. I can't remember why he was in Denver but it was good to see him and have a chat.
