Knox Barclay

Knox Barclay

August 5, 1945 - January 16, 2023

Knox has passed away from complications from Parkinson's disease. He was an active student athlete playing football, basketball, was a member of the Tiger track teams three years running, and was a varsity letterman on the 1963 CIF Southern Section Championship football team coached by Ray Solari.

Knox attended PCC following graduation and did a stint in the military where he served in the ASA, the Army Security Agency at Fort Devon, Massachusetts. He received his architectural degree from the University of Idaho in 1992 and opened his own business in Ketchum. Knox was very athletic and was an avid surfer and skier. He joined the Sun Valley Ski Patrol and worked in their service for more than 40 years.

Knox loved his dogs and had many over the years. He resided in Bellevue, Idaho with his wife, Carol. He is survived by her and stepdaughter, Crystal Fuller. Knox was a gentle soul and a good friend to all that knew him well. I believe the nicest thing I can say is he was a good man. We will miss you, Knox.
