Georgia Lee Whitworth Froberg (6/1/1949 - 1/8/2017), former Director of Medical Education at White Memorial Hospital, was a gentle spirit with a strong voice and a great leader. She served at White Memorial for nearly 43 years, starting out as an administrative assistant in 1973 and going on to become the Director of Medical Education in 1986. She had an unwavering commitment to medical education and during her 30-year tenure she helped shepherd countless residents through the intense challenges of a medical residency, cheering and supporting them on their way to the finish line.

Georgia loved entertaining and decorating, was a great friend with a wonderful sense of humor. She is survived by her husband, Steven B Froberg, son Steven K Froberg '96; and eight siblings, Deborah '69, Rhonda '70, Keith '73, Guy '75, Maureen '77, Mark '81, Mara '82, and Kenneth '85.
