I remember sewing class in high school with Susie - she blossomed! Her talent was amazing, with ease in creating beautiful garments seemingly effortlessly. Rest in peace, Susie, the world has lost a gracious, lovely soul.
I remember her as the most sincere genuine and beautiful person she was, inside and out. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. Rest in Peace, dear friend.
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Susie. She was such a sincere, happy, and friendly classmate. I remember going to her parents house for our Tri Hi Y meetings in 8/9th grades. Her mom was also so welcoming and kind to all of us teens. We had a party upstairs and had such a good time - with good clean, safe fun. She will be sorely missed. RIP Susie Love, Diana
I remember dancing with Sue at Mrs Harold's dance classes at the Veteran's Building. She was so very light on her feet, with perfect control--like a model or ballet student--and she conveyed her gentle and warm personality through her smile, conversation, and her dancing. What fun. What a joy to know, and remember Susie. Peace.
Just today I learned of Susie's passing. I loved her smile. She was so very creative. She brought happiness wherever she was! You will live on in the lives of your loving family. Gayle Stewart Odell
I was so sad to hear of Susie's passing! She was one of my best friends in junior high and high school, and I have so many wonderful memories of her. She was SO much fun and always a joy to be around. Of course, I remember how artistic and creative she was, and another one of her lovely qualities was how unflapable she was, even in pretty stressful situations. I was in the car with her on the way to her wedding as she very calmly finished some bit of hand sewing on her wedding dress. She was amazing in many ways, and it makes me very sad to know that she is gone.
