James Michael Gilmartin, born October 13, 1942 in California, passed away at age 71 on March 29, 2014 in Rancho Cucamonga.  Cause of death being a heart attack.  He was a retired police officer with 26 years of service for the city of Los Angeles.

He is survived by his wife Diane; children:  Paul, Richard, Jim, and Claudia; and grandchildren:  Kaylee, Alaina, Elijah, Cash, Jacob, Alex, and Isabella; and his brothers, Dennis Gilmartin '62 and Brad Gilmartin '72.  He was predeceased by his sister, Michelle Gilmartin Russell '59 and brother, Tim Gilmartin '68.
