Anna Perkins Dowlin Sterling passed away February 5, 1968. She is survived by her son, Marshall Dowlin of Woodside, California; her daughter, Donna Beyerle of Eugene, Oregon; four grandchildren; two great- grandchildren; her brother, Wentworth Perkins (SPHS '25) of Boise, Idaho; and her sisters, Ruth Perkins Roney (SPHS '09), Eleanor Perkins Clay (SPHS '12), both of Pasadena, and Louisa Perkins Penwarden (SPHS '27) of South Pasadena.

She was one of the founders of St James Episcopal Church, South Pasadena, and was a member of DAR and the Soroptomist club.
