Molly Mott Forgy, 89, of Newport Beach, California passed away at home on July 13, 2022. Molly was born on February 2, 1933, in Pasadena and later settled in Santa Ana and Newport Beach. She is survived by her children Merrilee Harris, Carey Schulte, and Fritz Forgy as well as seven grandchildren and many other loving family members, and friends.

Molly was a graduate of South Pasadena High School and UC Berkeley, where she earned a bachelor's degree in education. She taught elementary school for several years and was highly active in her community, including as president of the Assistance League of Santa Ana and president of the Parent Teacher Association of her children's school. Later in life, Molly became a Certified Financial Planner and was an avid and successful investor for many years.

Molly will be remembered for her incredible enthusiasms including traveling with her family and friends, competitive tennis, duplicate level bridge, love of gardening, and Cal football - Go Bears! She was perpetually sunny and was game for all adventures big and small. Molly had the highest of personal standards and integrity and could always be counted on to help family and friends. Memories of Molly's bright smile and robust laughter will live on, and she will be very dearly missed.
