Julie Winterburn deKoning

February 10, 1948 - February 10, 2021

Julie died on her 73rd birthday of cancer at her home in Alhambra. She had worked at Pacific Oaks Children's School in Pasadena for 40 years. She started working there in the early 1970s as a cleaning lady, and with no degrees or formal training she rose to become the highest level administrator - the Administrator and Admissions Director. She loved the school, the people, and what it stood for and she felt like her life had meaningful honorable purpose working for an organization that uplifted young children. Julie touched many people throughout her lifetime with the meaningful work she dedicated herself to. She will be missed by many, her daughters, family members and friends.
