George Roderick Bell, Jr., beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away October 15, 2005, due to congestive heart failure. He leaves behind his wife of 51 years, Jane F. Bell, as well as his children, Maria Bell Eliason (M. Shane Eliason), and Jim C. Bell. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, Quinton George Eliason, Piper Anne Eliason, Brenden James Bell, and Anthony Roderick Bell.

George Bell was born in Los Angeles in 1921. He was a lifetime resident of San Marino. He attended South Pasadena High School, then went on to the University of Southern California. He served his country as a Merchant Marine in World War II. George owned and operated Bell Equipment Company for over fifty years.
