Excessive speed is blamed by officers for a traffic acident in Santa Ana which killed two 17-year-old youths on March 24, 1945.

Fred Terrance Bothwell of South Pasadena and Lee Davis of San Marino, the driver, were killed when their car careened into a ditch.

Ralph Walbridge, 16, of South Pasadena; John T. Welsh, 16, San Marino; and Stephen Kent, 16, of South Pasadena were injured.
