Malcolm F Brown - Class Of 1944

Malcolm F Brown

Malcolm "Mal" Brown  '44  passed away in November 2004.  Mal went into the Navy immediately after graduation in June of 1944, and when discharged at the end of the war continued on in college (he had been in the V-12 program) and graduated as an electronics engineer. He held a number of responsible engineering management positions through the years, including a long period of work with Resdel Engineering Corporation, as president.

He is survived by his wife Marian (Marshall) Brown (SPSMHS Class of 1950) and their much beloved daughter and two sons.

In Mal and Marian's years of retirement they lived in Altadena near the foot of the San Gabriels.  Mal was a leading developer of the Community Television Broadcast Group in Pasadena, producing many interesting original programs for the enjoyment of the citizens of Pasadena.  The family also had a second home for many years in the Lake Arrowhead area, and he was also a member of the amateur radio community.  He is greatly missed by friends and family.
