Orrilla D. Deems, passed away March 22, 1977.  A resident of the area for 65 years, Mrs. Deems attended South Pasadena High School and Occidental College.  She was a member of the Foundation for the Blind and was active with the Pasadena Braille Club.

Survived by her son Ralph F. Deems, Jr. (SPHS '38), Arcadia; daughter Mrs. T.N. Spence (SPHS '42), Pasadena; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Also survived by one brother, Arthur Daggett of Glendora, California.
