Robert Daggett

Robert S. Daggett, a resident and businessman in the Pasadena area for 52 years, died April 11, 1975 in Newport Beach.  It was one day before his 57th wedding anniversary to his wife, Laura Cutler Daggett.  Robert graduated from South Pasadena High School and attended Occidental College.

After service in World War I, he went into business in his father's Pasadena hardware goods store, W.F. Daggett & Son.  He later continued the business with his own son under the name R.S. Daggett & Son.  Mr. Daggett was a Pasadena Rotarian for 38 years.

Robert and his wife moved to the Newport Beach area in 1960 and his widow and children, daughter Orrilla Ann Blanpied and sons Robert S. Daggett Jr and William C Daggett remain there.  Mr. Daggett is also survived by his sister, Orrilla Daggett Deems (SPHS '16); brother Arthur Daggett; and seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
