Paul E. Hadden, Phone Company Executive, Dies
Paul Evan Hadden, 53, commercial engineer of the Pacific Telephone & Telegraph Company, 1144 Oxley Street, South Pasadena, died August 14, 1955, after a lingering illness.
Mr. Hadden had served with the telephone company for 29 years. He was a graduate of South Pasadena High School and Occidental College and served as a captain in the Air Force in World War II.
Mr. Hadden is survived by his mother and a brother, Robert J. Hadden, vice-president of the telephone company, with whom he had been living at 918 Linda Vista Avenue, Pasadena, since he underwent a serious operation in December.
He also is survived by his nephew, Robert C. Hadden, San Francisco, and three nieces, Mrs. Henry Hayes, Ridgefield, Connecticut; Mrs. Charles Schimpfs, Arcadia, and Mrs. David Lennihan, San Francisco.
