George Cray

George Oliver Cray, 19 year-old son of Mr and Mrs Oliver Cray, of 1408 Fremont Avenue, South Pasadena, died of influenza February 19, 1922.

The young man who was a sophomore at Stanford, was the first victim of a mild epidemic of influenza which has spread in Palo Alto. Cray was a graduate of the South Pasadena High School in the class of 1920 and had resided in that city many years. Through his activities in high school, and social life in South Pasadena, he had a wide acquaintance among the young people there.

After graduating from high school, the deceased attended the University of California, Southern Branch, for one year and then transferred to Stanford.
