My Dad attended SPHS when it was SP-San Marino HS. He then went to CalTech, majoring in Chemical Engieering and played on the tennis team. Served in WWII and was the Military Governor of Kyoto Prefecture, Japan in the Army of Occupation from Oct 1945 to Feb 1950. Retired in 1960, returned to SP and the home he moved into when he was 1 year old at 1019 Montrose Ave, where i grew up and graduated from SPHS, class of 1967.
