
Morris Richardson
June 20, 1903 - August 1, 1984
Morris Richardson, who owned his own real estate firm, Warner Springs Realty, for 38 years, died August 1 at home. He was 81.
Mr Richardson was born in Omaha, Nebraska. A graduate of Whittier College, he served as mayor of Whittier in 1952. He moved to Ranchita, California in 1968. He was a US Army veteran of World War II and was awarded the Purple Heart.
Mr Richardson was a past president of the Lions Club of Warner Springs, member of American Legion No 619 of Warner Springs and the Warner Springs Elementary School Board and a 35-year member of BPOE Lodge No 1258 in Whittier.
Survivors include his wife, Kathryn; son John Lloyd Richardson of Vancouver, British Columbia; daughter Mary Davis of Westchester, California; and eight grandchildren.
