Jane Stone Brown

September 28, 1908 - July 1, 2001

Aka 'Bay', she was born in Decator, Alabama, she moved to South Pasadena about 1910 with her parents. She attended elementary and graduated high school in South Pasadena. Married her high school sweetheart, Richard M Brown (Class of 1925), and they were married for over 60 years. He preceded her in death in 1994. They both enjoyed dancing and entertaining friends. When very young, her parents drove the family to Laguna Beach, via the Coast Road when it was necessary to stop, get out of the car and to open the gate to Laguna...the families loved Laguna Beach.

Bay and Dick moved to Laguna in the 1940s, they bought the model home in Lagunita when the tract was opened about 1950. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and the PEO Sisterhood, Chapter JS. She also belonged to Laguna Ebell Club and Assistance League.

Bay was much loved by her family and friends. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
