Ruth Huntzinger of Palm Desert passed away peacefully, November 18, 2006.  She was born in South Pasadena, California in 1910.  She married her childhood sweetheart, Harvey Huntziner, who predeceased her in 1990.

Ruth was an accomplished knitwear designer and designed for many of the large yarn companies and their publications.  Her needlework was unsurpassed.

She is survived by her daughter, Anne (William) Camil '53, grandchildren, John A. Stern, Stephen (Gina) Stern, Julie (Douglas Watkins) Stern, and Angela Stern; great-trandchildren, Brian and Jessica Stern.  She also leaves an extended family, Linda (James) and Cami Whitney, and Louise (Ed), Kelly and Erin Hewitt, and Lori Cohen.
