Arcadia, California:  Enlisted USMC 1935 - 1939. Called to active duty 1939 as second lieutenant US Army, retired as a colonel 1959. Went to work for City of Arcadia, City of Montclair and Los Angles Unified School District. Retired June 1980. Three children - two boys, one girl.
