Paul Sampsell died May 1, 1999.  He was a graduate of SPHS, Occidental College, and the Stanford University School of Business.

Paul was a well known manufacturer of rubber products and for many years was co-owner of the West American Rubber Company in Orange County.  He was an avid sportsman and traveler.  His great love was the summers spent at his home in Victoria Cove, Laguna Beach.

He is survived by his wife Winifred, two daughters and three granddaughters.  He was predeceased by his son, Joel who was killed in Vietnam.
