
February 9, 1918 - July 8, 2001 - Robert D. Lord, 83, of Soulsbyville died Sunday at Sonora Community Hospital. Mr. Lord was a native of Pasadena. He lived in Soulsbyville 20 years. He was regional manager for Motorola for 13 years. He was a ham radio operator. He was a member of the Society of Amateur Radio Operators. He also was an officer in Tuolumne County Genealogy Society. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Airborne Coordinating Group of the Naval Research Lab.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Lord of Soulsbyville; children, Robert Lord, Dan Miller, Sheridan Tinker, Barbara Miller and Mimi Crow; a brother, Walter Lord; and nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
