Martin L. Merritt, 79, of Las Vegas, Nevada, died June 28, 2003. He was a vice president and general manager of a retail chain. He also served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He is survived by his sons, Vernon M. of San Ramon, California, Chris M. of Littleton, Colorado; daughters, Susie L. Mueller of Cancun, Mexico, and Louise C. Lightner of Sandy, Utah.
