Frederick E Fred Eggeman

Frederick Eggeman  '43  passed away May 11, 2003 in Pasadena.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Cordner Eggeman in 1989.  In June 1996 he married Rose Glienna, who survives him.  Also survived by his sons, Curtis Eggeman and Ross Eggeman and daugher-in-law Elaine and granddaughter, Bonnie Eggeman.

Frederick was born in Pasadena on August 23, 1923 and went through school in South Pasadena and then on to Pasadena Junior College.  He served as a demolition specialist with the 661st Tank Destroyer Battalion in the European theatre of operations during WW II.  When the war ended he returned to school, met and married Lois Cordner.  Their two sons were born in Pasadena. 

He was employed by the Pacific Railway Co. and Southern Pacific Railroad for over 35 years, retiring in 1985.

Frederick is also survived by sisters Barbara Sproul '37, Gertrude Cole '37, both of Boulder Creek, California and Marylois Stephens '40 of Montara, California.
