In Memory

Donald L Lundquist - Class Of 1945

After a long and happy life, Don died on September 16, 2008 at age 81 at Copper Ridge Care Center in Redding.  My husband, my hero, my love, my best friend has gone to a better place.

Don was born and raised in Southern California and served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1945 to 1949.  He started his law enforcement career in 1951 with the L.A. County Sheriff's Office.  He was there for two years and moved to the L.A. County D.A.'s Office where he stayed for twenty-five more years retiring as Assistant Chief of the D.A.'s Bureau of Investigation.

He loved hunting, fishing, clamming, crabbing, and the great outdoors.

He is survived by his wife of almost 53 years, Carol; his sons Russell Harvey and wife Susan, Kurt Lundquist and wife Victoria; three grandchildren, Leigh, Drew, and Tara, and many, many friends who loved him.  He was a true gentleman.

Goodnight my love, I will see you there.

"Goodnight my love, I will see you there."

That's a very appropriate comment on the passing
of a loved one!
For one glad day Jesus returns to take all His children
home to be with Him forever!
