John Montgomery

June 27, 1910 - March 14, 1957

From Miami, Florida comes the news of the death from a heart attack of J.H. Montgomery, a former resident of South Pasadena. Mr Montgomery was the son of the late William and Lena Montgomery, who made their home for many years at 1625 Lyndon Street. He was graduated from South Pasadena High School, class of 1928, and from the University of California at Los Angeles. During World War II, Mr Montgomery served six years with the US Navy with the rank of Commander.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs Betty Montgomery; a son, John N Montgomery; two brothers, Billy Montgomery(SPHS  '35) of Arcadia and Alvis Montgomery of Sacramento, and a sister, Miss Lemuella Montgomery of Compton.
