Jack Lester Reed Sr., 85, of San Diego died May 27, 2002. He was born in Texas August 26, 1916 and was the vice president of Control Data Corp. Mr. Reed retired from the Air Force and was a veteran of World War II and the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was a member of the Rancho Bernardo Country Club and the 367th Fighter Group Association.
Survivors include his daughter, Muriel Peterson of Sammamish, Washington; sons, Jamison Reed of Southlake, Texas, and Jack Lester Reed Jr. of Lake Elsinore; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
