Charlene Bowers Calderwood (August 25, 1934 - December 23, 2014) passed away after a long illness of extreme arthritis and a heart condition.

I think her high school days were probably the best times of her life. She always talked about them up to her last days. She had a Tiger stuffed animal at her bedside when she passed. She was sad she couldn't attend the last couple of reunion gatherings due to her health.

Charlene also leaves behind an older brother, Maurice Jay Bowers '51 and his wife Patsy Haynes Bowers '52 and younger sisters, Mary Bowers Silverstein '69 and Jeanine Bowers Wright '70. Charlene was predeceased by her older brother, Jim Bowers '48.
