Frank M Brooks

On February 3, 2014, surrounded by his children, Frank Brooks of Pasadena, California, passed away peacefully after a short illness. Frank grew up in San Marino, attended South Pasadena/San Marino High School, and married his high school sweetheart, Dianne DeVeau '43.

He attended Stanford and after serving in the army went on to preside over Brooks Products, Inc., a successful family precast concrete business. Frank served as an active member on the board of directors of the Boys and Girls Club of Pasadena from 1988-2012. His first wife, Dianne, passed away in 1998 and in 1999 he married Betty Ann Koen of Pasadena who died in 2011.

Frank is survived by his sister Betty Brooks Mountjoy (SPHS '40); his three children, Ben, Laurie, and Stacey; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Frank was a boating enthusiast, an avid tennis player, and a family man. A man known for his integrity, Frank was also thoughtful and caring. He will be greatly missed.
