Lafayette, California:  Attended Occidental College two years; graduated from University of California, Berkeley 1941. Married 1942, moved to Northern California after war, raised three sons; now also have five grandchildren. Have worked for city of Walnut Creek in City Clerk's office for 20 years; plan to retire this year.
