Mary Marie Case of Po'ipu, Hawaii died on November 4, 2011, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 91.  Born on July 13, 1920, in San Diego, California, she was a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army (Women's Air Corps) during World War II, stationed in the Philippines and New Guinea.  She was awarded a Bronze Star.

She is survived by her husband, Herbert Case, Po'ipu; sons, Gary Case, Po'ipu and Jeff Case, Big Island; sister, Connie Hillburn (SPHS '40), California; brother, George Mosher (SPHS '42), California; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
